I bought these with the intent of using them with my Army Painter paints as they require lots of shaking before use; however, they are so good at mixing the pigment back into the binding agent that I have decided to use them with almost all of my paints (including inks and washes). Paints that were once chunky and almost unusable have been restored by using these (and a dash of flow medium) and paints that have been sitting for ages have been brought back to life. While you still need to shake most paints vigorously these mixing balls help to agitate the pigments and allow them to flow better than regular shaking would allow. I highly recommend these for all miniature paints (Citadel, Vallejo, Army Painter, etc.) and will be buying more soon!

Drop a ball bearing in each paint pot and shake away. You know the paint is mixing when you hear the ball rattle. Great for mixing stubborn paint sediment (tried shaking contrast paints-). Hopefully these will be rust free!
These are perfect for mixing your paint, just chuck two in a bottle and shake,
These are definitely worth their weight. Makes mixing your paints much easier, recommend 2 per bottle as it stops them from blocking the dropper bottle nozzle if just using 1. Have used them in Army Painter droppers & in the few GW pots I have. They work good in GW pots, just a shame GW pots are terrible for removing paint from.

Highly recommended for mixing your paint, I use 2 in each of my small bottles of paint and they make it so much easier and mix it so much better.
Worth the buy – they don’t go rusty in your paint like cheaper ball bearings
Absolutely great for bringing some old paints back to life
Very useful.
Brought back to life a few paints that I thought were no good. Just put a couple of mixing balls in and shake away.
Great what every painter needs
They are a brilliant way to give slightly older paints a new lease of life. Great smooth texture as a result.
These mixing balls are great. You get a pack of 100 for a really good price. No issues with them for me and a good weight for mixing the paints.
