Brooklyn Office Chair (Light Grey) reviews

I was expecting the chair to be more comfortable and better constructed and padded than it actually is, so a bit disappointed in that regard. It was difficult to put together – the instructions are purely pictorial and definitely confusing/insub­stantial in a couple of places. Overall, it's an OK chair but I'm not overly impressed with it.

Just received this chair and first impressions are great! Easy to assemble, comfy and has a tilt mechanism so you can lean back.

Its comfortable to sit on and putting it together was actually straight forward to. Would buy again.

Bought this about a year ago. Aesthetically it's a nice chair. Assembly instructions were pretty basic but I'm handy enough so put it together without too much hassle. That's where the pro's finish. I specifically got this to go with my desk which is a bit higher than average (78cm) so a chair that's supposed to have a height of 50.5–60cm was ideal. Unfortunately 50cm is the max seat height and the lifter has started to fail so it slowly sinks down to 40cm (meaning desktop is at armpit height). Compounding this is the seat cushion which has now compressed to the point that it may as well be made of wood – I'm using two extra cushions from my couch just to give it a little height but still too close to the floor. I'm now shopping for a replacement and will inevitably take this to the dump. It's put me off buying another chair off MA and for this will stick to the reputable office furniture store.

Could tell putting it together it was poor quality. Not that comfortable and feels cheap.

Good chair for the price, very flexible to get into comfortable position. Instructions were a bit unclear but easy enough to get together in the end. Nice colour and quality. Would rate

I love the colour! It’s comfortable for a great price! Have the right support on the lower back, neck and arm rest when using the computer mouse. It was delivered fast as well! Great service. Will definitely buy again here.
