TCL NXTWEAR S XR OLED Smart Glasses reviews

Absolutely amazing for gaming! I use with my SteamDeck mostly & am able to game lying down in my bed, no more neck pain. Being OLED the picture quality is stunning, blacks are black & it looks better than any gaming monitor I've owned. Didn't have to install anything, it just detected & worked both on my SteamDeck & on my Windows Gaming PC.

I've had the glasses for a day and they're ok however I have been having issues with it dropping in and out disconnecting from my phone. Also it says it 4 m that you get 130 inch you don't it's more closer to I would say 90 .The colours are good The refresh rate is not bad The image itself is nice and bright and handles the blacks quite well. The app experience is to be honest with you awful and needs a lot of work when you're watching movies it's kind of strange you see the image then you see a black border around it but it's not full screen The screen inside is smaller and there's no way of actually increasing image size to match the border. The sound is ok but definitely sounds better with a good pair of headphones but you need to switch between the two to increase the volume if you have an iPhone that doesn't support USB-C you need a TCL Portable Adapter this is available in New Zealand recommended retail prices around $200 also if you want to play it on your Xbox PlayStation or switch you need a goovis hdmi to type-c adapter which is not available in New Zealand it'll set you back about $160 you can get these on Amazon. If you are mirroring your phone to the glasses you need keep in mind it will keep to the aspect ratio of the phone so if you expecting a giant sized image for watching Netflix prime and Disney or mobile gaming you will be disappointed. As for me it dropped the image size down to around a 55 inch however I'd like to think mighty ape for going extra mile for me on this product customer service was excellent.

First of all could not see all of screen as was always missing bottom part of screen tried adjusting nose piece and it broke of first try. I found away to see the screen but have to move the glasses support almost to the bottom of my ears on a angle. Not the best, beginning to wonder if I got a faulty pair. Will stay away from TLC in the future.

Just got. And it is really brilliant. The brim of the glasses against the forehead does get hot. But seriously brilliant device. Next step to try it outside. See if I can see
