Finding Dory
Finding Dory reunites the friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish with her
loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the true meaning of family
along the way. The all-new big-screen adventure dives into DVD & Blu-ray in
2016, taking movie watchers back to the extraordinary underwater world from the
original film.
Family is a key theme in “Finding Dory.” “We learn when we first meet
Dory that she can’t remember where she’s from,” says Director Andrew
Stanton. “But she must have a family. Her confusion got a laugh when she said
in the first film, ‘Where are they?’— but there’s a sad truth to that.
I knew there was a story worth telling.”
Critic Reviews:
- " Who would have thought one of the deepest films ever made about
learning disabilities would star a talking blue fish? " –
Matthew Rozsa
- " Much like its titular character, it keeps swimming, and in doing so
teaches all of us life lessons that we likely already knew yet still could use
to revisit all the same. " – Sara Michelle Fetters
- " For a film set in the ocean, it somehow even manages to throw in a car
chase sequence. " – Mike Massie
